NC Families First

Nicole Quick is a former businesswoman who put her career on hold to take care of her family. She and her husband have lived in Eastern Guilford County for 20 years since she went to work for Guilford Mills. After managing a business sector at Guilford Mills, Nicole went to work for Brayton International in High Point where she spearheaded efficiency and quality improvements for the company.

Nicole left Brayton to start a family. When her son Tad was diagnosed with autism, she decided to leave her career behind and undergo training in order to provide daily occupational therapy for him. Once Tad was in school, Nicole went on to work as a one-on-one aid in the classroom with him and, later, to lead teacher instruction and workshops focused on working with children with autism in inclusive classrooms.

In the state legislature, Nicole will champion education, the environment, health care, jobs and voting rights.
